Love this world
I fist was introduced to the Shadowhunter world when I read "City of Bones" in the Mortal Instruments series. I have now read that series at least 3 times, and have watched the movie and the TV series. Jace and Clary, Simon, Alec and Magnus are my friends. This series is a little darker, a little creepier - I guess because it's set in London and has that "Jack the Ripper" feel. But I loved the characters - and the intense love triangle. I couldn't see my way to a HAE, which is essential for me these days. I already knew a little about what would happen, since the Infernal Devices story takes place before the Mortal Instruments, and has characters that were already introduced. But I fell in love with Tessa, Jem and Will in this series - their nobility and strength, and their care for each other. I love Ms. Clare's world. It's a reflection of ours with many of the same prejudices and problems, just slightly altered. Read the Mortal Instruments first and then take on this series. You won't be disappointed.

AMAZING!!! I had been on the fence for years, admiring the beautiful covers but not too much interest. finally just leapt and holy crap. I wish I had done it sooner so I would've had more rereads under more belt. Such an excellent series. Wanting to read Mortal Instruments next, but I really really love will and Tessa (<---ship) and jem is awesome too. I am just afraid of mentally tarnishing this book which is silly and not something I have worried about before. probably because other series, like VA I read as they came out and was just so desperate for me I jumped into spinoffs and new series. anyways READ THIS SERIES

Perfect! I wish it had been the other spine that some of the other reviewers had (the black and white images) but still a gorgeous set!

I've read them, my husband has read them, my daughter is reading them. If you like mortal istruments you're bound to like these as well.
Never received the first book in the set
I got really excited and ready to read all three books when I opened my package and learned that the first book is missing and I have two of the second book...im really disappointed
Great series
Cassandra Clare is an awesome writer, I have read the mortal instrument series, infernal device series. And the dark artificial series. Love the stories waiting for chain of gold the last hours.
NOT as pictured
NOT AT ALL the editions pictured! I am so disappointed...I purchased this boxed set because I loved the covers and artwork so much and the editions that came looked nothing like the covers featured in product description. Beware of this scam photo!
Damaged / worn. Looks used or like it was dropped a lot

Awesome
I bought the used book that looks like new option. I was kind of scared of how the quality will come (we know that sometimes they lie of how good the condition of the books are) but this were awesome! Good quality and I love this trilogy l, definitely worth it.
